After the day at the museum, Marco came to meet me for a coffee at the oldest café in town, Maiasmokk ("sweet tooth"). All the guidebooks had said the interior was charming, but that the cakes tasted as if they had been around since the founding. Of course, I made the mistake of trying one -- they were right!
But the cake looked pretty . . .
A few more photos before I go:
And then it was time to go home .. . .goodbye Estonia, I would love to see you again in the summer!
What a delight tour you've given us. I would never have thought of including that part of the world in my travel plans. I'm coming back later to go over it in detail, but after taking a look at the preceding posts it looks as if you had a great trip. The massage sounded wonderful too.

oooooooh. these photos are so...suggestivo, we would say in Italian. I love the cherubs painted in the hallway. I pretty much love it all. Those northern cultures--- they have something, don't they! So glad you could get away and do this for yourselves.

Hi Kim thank you for sharing your wonderful trip with us. It sounds fascinating. I have never thought about going to such a place, maybe I should broaden my horizons. I am not sure if Arni would want to come with me..looks like I need a travel friend again!!
I loved your photos, especially the little stairway..! :-)

So The Amazing Race went to Tallin last week - you can probably watch it on YouTube. Your pictures were better than their filming.
